"My paintings are a personal reflection of my feelings. I take everyday familiar objects and personify them, creating a dialogue between them. I place these objects in lonely and desolate environments as a reflection of a feeling often present in people displaced from their origins. My life, projected in my paintings, is a road and a continuous search to find my place in changing surroundings. I enjoy exploring the relationship between interior and exterior space, in windows that look both inwards and outwards, and in a symbiotic relationship between the heavens and earth."
